MINAS and UNFPA strengthen their collaboration on the eve of Dr SENNEN HOUNTON's official visit to Cameroon

The Minister of Social Affairs, Pauline Irène NGUENE, recently received the Representative of UNFPA/Cameroon and the Country Director for São Tomé and Príncipe. This meeting was part of the

preparations for the official visit  of Dr SENNEN HOUNTON, UNFPA Regional Director for West and Central Africa, who will visit Cameroon in a month.

The goal of the meeting was to explore ways to accelerate collaboration between UNFPA and MINAS within the framework of the Pact for the Future.  This strategic partnership aims to promote a new generation of social inclusion, reproductive health and youth and women's empowerment projects in line with Cameroon's development priorities.

Minister Pauline Irène NGUENE stressed the importance of the two institutions' commitment to improving the living conditions of vulnerable populations.

This meeting is an important step towards establishing solid and sustainable partnerships for human development in Cameroon, in anticipation  of Dr HOUNTON's visit.

The Pact for the Future is a concrete response to the country's development challenges, focusing on health, education and the inclusion of all social groups, especially the most vulnerable.

Stay tuned for more details on this evolving partnership.
